MJC Men's Club

The Marlboro Jewish Center Men’s Club is part of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, or FJMC International. That’s the umbrella organization of more than 200 clubs serving 14,000 men across North America and around the world. FJMC International’s mission is to involve Jewish men in Jewish life. The Northern New Jersey Region is the link between more than 25 Men's Clubs from synagogues in New Jersey and Staten Island, and FJMC International. Together, we strive to increase the level of Jewish observance, participation in synagogue life, and brotherhood among our members. MJC is proud to have several current and past officers on the regional board.

Locally, we have over 50 members and we are involved in the temple and the community with a wide variety of religious, ritual, social, philanthropic, health, and joint programming events. We build sukkahs, cook latkes, teach Hebrew school kids about tefillin, deliver yellow candles, daven, lead a Shabbat service, barbeque for back-to-shul night, learn about upcoming holidays, hike, bike, play softball, meet to discuss men’s health issues and career topics, and gather to enjoy each other’s company and the occasional sporting event, as well as food and a beverage or two. We also are available to help anyone who needs it with odd jobs or projects around your house through our Haimisha Helper program. For years, we have been recognized with the “Quality Club” award for meeting and exceeding programming and participation standards.
